White Bread

Someday, we'll have to change the name to set it apart from what the uninitiated call "white bread." Monks' White is like no other white bread. We use unbromated, unbleached enriched flour to bake a hearty bread that tastes so good as morning toast that you'll be tempted to eat it without butter! All our breads are zero trans fat and cholesterol free.

Whole Wheat

Everybody knows how important whole grain is as part of a healthy diet. Our Wheat Monks' Bread includes 100% stone ground wheat flour, molasses, honey and makes superb sandwiches. Don't believe us? Try some for yourself. All our breads are zero trans fat and cholesterol free.

Raisin with Cinnamon

The monks at the Abbey of the Genesee pride themselves on the care that goes into baking every loaf Raisin Monks' Bread. This bread has such a following that people who move away from Central and Western New York ask visitors to "bring me some Monks' Bread and make sure you include some raisin." Sunflower with Rolled Oats

Some people like variety in their diets. For them, Sunflower Monks' Bread is just ticket. With every bite, you'll savor the goodness of whole sunflower seeds baked into this one-of-a-kind bread. All our breads are zero trans fat and cholesterol free.

Maple-Cinnamon

Our newest bread. When we were searching for a name for this, someone suggested "Sunday Morning Bread." The combination of maple and cinnamon gives a taste that makes for a special Sunday morning breakfast. Some people we know make French Toast with this bread and say they don't even add syrup! Give it a try. All our breads are zero trans fat and cholesterol free.

NEW! Genesee Rye - with caraway seeds

By popular demand our Genesee Rye is now available. It's a soft rye with caraway seeds. Once a month we make a large batch and freeze it. Throughout the week we defrost and offer it at our abbey store. Many Rye bread fans like it a lot....including the monks!! Genesee Rye is presently not offered in our Monks' Sampler.
